However, the platform’s latest variety show has left many unimpressed for several reasons.
On May 7, Super Rich In Korea was added to Netflix’s catalog of shows. As the title implies, Super Rich In Korea shows off the glitz and glam of the lives of some of the wealthiest individuals in the country, likely drawing inspiration from the American series Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous.
Starting with the show’s initial premise, netizens have already expressed distaste. With the internet, it is easier to see the living conditions of others worldwide, and a show showing off wealth is unappealing to some.
